Hi everyone! I want to include a small map of the ceremony to the reception sites on the directions card in our invitations.
How did you/should I do this? The reception location is 20 min from the ceremony location, so it would be mostly a map of lines showing which highway to take, etc. How did you make yours? Draw it in Illustrator?

We used this tutorial: http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/04/06/making-your-own-map/ and my husband fancied it up a bit with colors and graphics. He said it was kind of hard though…he’s doing it for my sister’s wedding and dreading it 😉

DH followed that link as well. He took a map from mapquest, traced over it and then deleted the map layer.

@hotchildinthecity: Thank you! I just tried the tutorial and it worked perfectly! So glad I didn’t try to re-create a map on my own – you saved me lots of time 🙂
