- Wedding: March 2013
So here in mexico the legal and religious weddings are seperate, so the catholic ceremony makes you married in the eyes of the church but has no legal standing. and the legal one alone isnt recognised by the church. so i need to see a judge as well as a priest
things that are set in stone –
4.30-5.30 photos (as sunset ceremony, so we have some photos in daylight)
5.30-6 freshening up, getting ready for ceremony
6-7 catholic ceremony
7 onwards reception
id prefer to do the legal ceremony the same day. we’re staying in a hotel as the wedding is in cancun and we live in a different part of mexico (monterrey, across border from texas)
legal part can be done at the hotel next to the beach…but it can get pretty windy so might mess up my hair. i can have it at 11 or 2, inside or out. i could have simple hair/makeup for ceremony done by myself at 11, then have hair/makeup done properly before photo session and catholic ceremony. or, i could have it at 2 and be completely made up and either
-hope my hair doesnt get messed up
– have it inside which is less pretty but protects my hair
– make another touch up appt?
it its at 11 id have to eat lunch in my wedding dress and im worried id spill stuff on it (by dinner ill have photos and wont care as much). if it was at 2 i could have a big late breakfast before hair and makeup
oh im so confused!
