My FH and I are not on the same page with what music to play for walking down the aisle… he wants the traditional wedding march where I want something more along the lines of VSQ can’t help falling in love or The Piano Guys. I’ve been trying to find a more modern version of Here Comes the Bride but can’t. We are having a small outdoor wedding.
Any advice or other songs that might be a good compromise??

My fiancé and I had the same discussion, this was our compromise and I love it!
Not sure if you would call it a more modern version but it definitely isn’t your traditional organ dun dun da dun!

Have you thought about Canon in D? It’s wedding-y without sounding cheesy. I am considering it because my fiance and I are having the exact same battle (I like VSQ and he just doesn’t like anything).

irkeiko: I do like that song… Are you thinking about just doing this song for the wedding party and yourself? Or two different songs? My wedding is only 3 weeks away and I am still struggling! Lol.

CloveC: I would do that song for just the bride. I think another, nice-sounding song can be used for the wedding party, and the guests will know that it is time for the bride when that music starts.

I’m still trying to find VSQ stuff that will be a good compromise, though. Do you have Spotify? It is a great way to listen to lots of music to see if you want to use it. You can also just search for “wedding” and you’ll get a ton of wedding albums to sift through.
