- Wedding: May 2012
So I am the most indecisive person in the world, but I never thought that I’d have so much trouble picking the music that I’d use for the wedding.
Right now, we have definitely decided on a DJ for the reception, but are trying to decide whether to go with acoustic guitar player for ceremony, or just stick to the DJ. (although I love the idea of an acoustic guitar player, I am having so much trouble picking songs that go together, that I’m starting to think it’d be easier to use pre-recorded music)
I’m not 100% decided on anything really, but here is what I have so far.
I was thinking of the entire bridal party walking in to instrumental version of bittersweet symphony.
I was planning on walking down the aisle to either Marry me by Train (i know it’s overused) or Hero by Foo Fighters.
My issue is finding something to use that will flow well, and that we could use an acoustic player throughout. I don’t know if that will work or not.
Some other considerations have been Tangled up in You by Stained, and Acoustic version of Everlong by the Foo Fighters.
We also are planning to do a memorial ceremony right before our unity candle ceremony to honor my dad, both sets of my grandparents, and his grandparents that are passed. We will need songs for the memorial lighting and also our unity candle lighting also. I would like all the music to flow and mesh overall.
