I’m getting a full set today, and I’m having trouble deciding what to go with. I’m not a fan of traditional french, and am looking to go with something sparkly and fun.My theme is Winter Wonderland and my colors are silver, white and blue. What do you think?

Personally I’m a fan of more subtle nails, but since you said sparkly and fun is your goal, I think option 3 is the best!

None of these are my tastes, they remind me of something my 13 year old sister would want. It doesn’t come off as bridal to me.

@MrsSweetT: These are not appropriate for a wedding.. or an adult. Why do they get wider at the tips? I’d go with a nude pink (or another nude color that is complimentary to your skin tone).. something like this:

I posted some suggestions above assuming its part of your personality to be fun and sparkly! This is a more demure way of going about to without being too over the top and non bridal. Personally for me I will be going for a simple look like above. You don’t want yoir nails to steal the show, ya know?

I voted for #3. Personally, I think it looks better since it is simple.

This is the manicure I had when Fiance proposed. It has some sparkly but kn my opinion was still classy. it could just be my opinion though. I hope any of these pictures have been helpful. I just like nails!

@BeeinBoston: all of the options you posted are great!!
OP, I agree with the others…the ones you posted are too childish (I actually want to use another word but I’m sure it wouldn’t be a appreciated).

@MrsSweetT: I picked the blue sparkle with the bow! It’s adorable! And way more daring than me! I tend to go with classic, timeless, and understated but I admire bold brides like you!
I think the blue would be fun and would stand out 🙂
By The Way congrats your day is so close! And I love Chicago haha

I love the ones @BeeinBoston: posted. Especially love the almond shaped with the glitter tip.
I am really not a fan of the ones you posted, OP, and agree with a PP who asked why do they get bigger at the tip? I think a rounded/almond edge looks a lot nicer.

I’d definitely be willing to tone it down a bit.
@IzzyBear: Is it the bows that make it look childish?
@BeeinBoston: Thanks for posting! I like the french sparkle tips. They’re not so over the top. Man, I didn’t realize how “loud” the nails were I posted.

Wear what you want. It is your day. In the words of someone wiser than me “there’s the pervasive messaging that you should look “pretty” on your wedding day, which usually means “safe” (and pink).” And, you don’t have to be safe and pink on your wedding day!!
