I know that we've had posts about this in the past. But seeing as the dream was just lastnight and so disturbing I'll just tell it. In my dream I was arriving at the wedding venue with my family. It was this venue in the middle of nowhere surrounded by trees, and you could see a tiny bit of the ocean. I went inside to get into my wedding dress, my FI was going to arrive later with his family. I went upstairs and put on my dress. I was regretting not having tried it on after it was taken in my the seamstress. The dress was too short and too big in the boob area. I yelled down to my mother to come bc she'd have to do something with it. Then i realized that I forgot to "unzip" the bottom of the dress. I unzipped it and the bottom came out and it was then long enough. My mom did something and the boob area fit better, but I realized that all of the beading was gone. That the seamstress did something completely different to what we had agreed on. But I had to suck it up anyway. Then I realized that I didn't have any jewelry. I put on my e-ring and tried to find something else to wear in a jewelry box in that room. I found a fake pearl bracelet. When I put it on it broke! I ended up walking down to the main room with no makeup, my hair not done and no jewelry. Just me and the dress. Then my mom made me grill what was going to be the photographers. They responded in a French accent and began insulting me and getting angry that I wanted to see their documents. Then I had to beg them to be the photographers anyway IN FRENCH (I know like 10 words in French!). About an hour passed, and my own FI was late and missed the ceremony! (You must wonder how we got "married" without he being present....I have no clue!) He arrived in the middle of dinner with his family. Spanish people have a tendancy to arrive late, so when he arrived ALL the Spanish guest arrived. I ran off, embarassed of how bad I looked and went to search for make up and jewelry...the dream goes on like this with one bad thing happening after another, like my FI was just wearing khakis and a white shirt and tie. He said he got ready in 10 min. bc he was "in a rush". I was like "in a rush on OUR WEDDING DAY?" It was a disaster!

I still have 10 months to go before the big day. I wonder if I'll start having more of these dreams it's my 2nd or 3rd so far. I sure hope not! Embarassed

Dreams are so interesting, you should get a dream book so that you can analyse them. I've heard that dreams are cryptic aswell. ie dreaming that your teeth are falling out is about death. hmm so I wonder dreaming about not having makeup on and the photographer and your FI being late means....

A few nights ago I had a dream that I wore my wedding dress to run errands, just to "break it in" and spilled beet juice on it.  It was so strange ...

I've noticed my wedding dreams/nightmares tend to come in bunches.  There was a time not so long ago when I had a week's worth of wedding related dreams.  They've died down for the moment..  Interestingly I found the dreams were often a collection of what I had been reading on WB the day before.  Go figure, WB when I'm awake and apparently when I'm asleep.

mine are frequent and weird. the worst one is that no one comes including the groom! and the other bad one is that everyone is late and we miss our window of time to get married LOL i hope this doesnt go on for the next 300 or so days....

I have wedding nightmares all the time. Usually my hair isn't done and the flowers aren't right. This week I had one where my wedding cake was this huge sheet cake with those horrible icing flowers--yikes!
