@jesssamesssa:  I repeat: you are a stress ball. Did you cuddle a puppy?! Seriously, the likelihood of any of that happening is slim to none. Don’t worry. You have done everything you can and the rest is out of your control. Relax and enjoy your day, ma’am!

Just breathe, you’ll be ok.  Everyone has the wedding nightmares.  2 days ago, I had a dream that I took out my wedding dress on my wedding day and it was the wrong dress.  It was actually a specific dress I tried on that I didn’t like, and in my dream it was even the sample size from the store which was way too big for me.  I’m still a year out too.  This does not bode well for me.

Don’t fret, I’m right there with you! I have “wedding nightmares” several times a week. A few of the recent ones:

The florist made up the bouquets a month in advance and they were all dead by the time of the wedding

I forgot to get my dress altered and didn’t realize it until I was ready to walk down the aisle

The photographers didn’t show up until the wedding was over and wouldn’t honor my requests for a do-over

I forgot to send out the invitations so I was frantically calling everyone trying to get them to come

I went on vacation to Mexico and accidentally missed the wedding

As freak-out inducing as they are, I think having these kinds of dreams is pretty normal. For the month leading up to a big certification test I had similar kinds of nightmares where things went terribly (and comically) wrong, but in reality I passed with flying colors. Try not to stress too much, and just laugh at the nightmares. You have to admit, they’re kind of funny!

@jesssamesssa:  Girl, you’re stunning. Wear a burlap bag and you are going to look amazing. Can’t you keep your same dress for both? You might as well get as much wear out of it as possible. And seriously, if something doesn’t get done no one is going to know 🙂

@jesssamesssa:  Take a DEEP breath! I had wedding nightmares for months, and none of them came true. Take a bubble bath and take a glass of wine with you, go get a massage, do something to de-stress! That’s all that nightmare was, stress. Nothing more and nothing less. 🙂

@jesssamesssa:  Seriously, drive home first. Leave in your dress, get some awesome pictures, and then drive home and drop it off. Change into sweats and sit in an airport in comfort. There’s always a workaround 🙂

@jesssamesssa:  Change in secret somewhere then, have your mama follow you, and she can bring your dress home 🙂 I will find a solution for whatever you throw at me even if you are changing in a gas station or the back of a truck! LOL

I had a really long nightmare last night, and I’m 6 months out still!!!  In mine, everything I haven’t done yet was still not done… So I had a MUA but not hair,  I had a DJ but he didn’t have the list of songs, etc etc it goes ON AND ON!!!

Let me know if you discover any tricks for sleeping peacehfully the night before the wedding 😉

It’ll be fine.

Not to put a downer on everything, but my Grandma died on Saturday. It’s my wedding this weekend.

Really puts things into perspective, you know?

Not that you don’t have a right to be stressed, but remember – way worse things can happen x
