@Michelle1108: This is a bit out of the way for you but it's worth a look. They allow outside catering and you can bring your own alcohol. I'm having my wedding there next year. I'll have about 150 ppl.
Check out the blog http://tenthousandonly.blogspot.com/ I think her location was close to yours, maybe you can learn from her venue searches.
@MrsCunningham2B: The venue looks beautiful! Thank you. I'll look into it. Good luck with your wedding planning!
@MissIntent: Thanks for the website! I love it! It will really help me plan my 10K wedding. =)

@ThaBride:
I called this number(562) 755-4242 and was told that they don't rent out this place anymore. Did I talk to the wrong guy? Or they really stop renting out this venue?
Do you have specific criteria? I'm on the same boat as you but we want outside catering so I'm having a hard time.
I saw this place and I liked it but they only allow their own DJ.

I am getting married at Soka University in Aliso Viejo. Depending on the areas you want to use the pricing is a couple thousand. You can bring in your own caterer and alcohol, but you have to go get a liquor license (I think it is about $50).
Also try Oak Canyon Nature Center, it looks like you could do a very pretty wedding there.

Hello, I'm a bride on a budget. My wedding is very DIY. My wedding budget is about $10K for 200 ppl. I am looking for a venue in the Orange County area that allows outside catering and alcohol for an afternoon-evening wedding. Anyone have any suggestions? I was looking into Covina Hills Ranch Estate, but cannot find information on them anywhere! I emailed them and have not gotten a response. Any suggestions?
