Ikea or Pier 1 imports should have something kinda cheap.  I am getting my candle for the cermony from there.

Not sure where you are located – but Ikea, Ocean State Job Lot, and Big Lots have great candles for cheap!

SashaHewitt7072:  I agree on Ikea.  It didn’t work for me because I needed white floating candles and i could only find “natural” there – which are quite yellow-creamish.  My venue recommended http://www.100candles.com but I actually found them even cheaper on Amazon.

I got mine from http://www.candles4less.com – I bought the small votive candles and pillars. The votives were $39.99 for 72 candles and 72 holders, and the pillars were $42.99 (I think) for twelve 3 x 6 pillars. I got ivory, unscented ones but they have other colours if you’re looking for pure white or something. I found them to be cheaper than most brick and mortar stores, even when I mostly looked around at the holidays when candles were on sale. I will say too, they were fantastic with customer service (i.e. they called me personally when the ivory pillars went on back order to let me know they’d be delayed, and then the delay ended up only being like 2 days, which was totally fine).

The only downside is that shipping is crazy expensive if you’re not in the US. I’m in Canada, but I have a US shipping address that I had it shipped to. If I hadn’t done that, shipping would have been more than the cost of the candles themselves, which is absolutely crazy.

If you want to go the outlet route you can checkout http://wholesalecandleoutlet.com/ .  They have some good prices on bulk candles and they’ll even throw in free shipping on orders over $150.  I’ve used them before and they have nice candles.

I second Dollar Tree, they definitely have lots of plain candle options. Some of their vases are surprisingly well made and sturdy, too, if you are looking for that sort of stuff.

Michaels!! They have 50% off coupons all the time (literally. They’re either 40% or 50% on their website ALL of the time, so just wait for the 50%) and I found that makes them cheaper than anywhere else I looked. It made the votives I bought $0.17 each.
