my love and I are getting married on friday the 13th, hes in the military so we are actually already married but finally planning the big ta da and we are doing it on friday the 13th next year, anyone have thoughts?!

Thanks! my parents got married on sept 13 so it has some meaning to me it just so happens its on friday the 13th!

I think its cool! But I hope you don’t have any really superstitious older people on the guest list who might decline because of this (I personally have some cooky old aunts who might be really put off by such a thing).

He proposed on Friday, January 13th, and we’re getting married on Friday, July 13th- so obviously, a lucky day for us! 🙂
No one’s expressed any concern because of the date, esp after hearing that was when he proposed. One big advantage: you have a lot more vendor availability. We were able to do everything within 6 months, with no problem, since some people are “scared” of a number.

I would love it! The number 13 has always been sort of special to me, and I’d like to have a significant event to celebrate on the 13th.
