i bought a wedding planner/organizer and also a book called 'planning your wedding', they have great tips, but so does weddingbee :)
This post has a link to a free wedding planner. I ordered on for my best friend and it was every bit as great and helpful as mine was. I also used martha stewarts web site which was a huge help, especially for guest list and seating charts.

I'm on project wedding, weddingbee, theknot (which has an app on my ipad for it), I have a book called The Antibride Guide (for offbeat weddings :3), a book called Romantic Victorian Weddings, A book called Budget Brides, and a REALLY helpful app on my ipad that was offered for free around v-day, so awesome! I got this shit down lol
Ok I got some different books and magazines but the ones worth getting are Poor Bride Rich Bride Your Ultimate Wedding Planning Guide for my favortie book and my favorite magazing is Get Married. I would not buy a wedding planner the online ones are much better. Once you get all your ideas together it doesnt become worth it buy any of these things.
Thank you ladies for your help. I have been on theknot for over a year and I really like their planning tools. I just wanted to keep it all organized on paper too cause I am a hands on girl verses all electronic.
my FH bought me like 3 but i'm really bad for writing stuff down.... so i found an App on my iphone called iWeddingDeluxe... it's SOOOO awesome, so i've been using that and it keeps track of EVERYTHING, and lets you know if you're overspending, or when your payments are due, it lets you add the whole guestlist and add which table they will sit at, it's got everything, all the details...... i love it. It cost me 6.99 and was well worth it

Did any of you buy a wedding book, planner or organizer to help you plan your wedding? Or did you just use the information online from weddingbee, martha stewart, brides.com or theknot.com etc? If so what books do you recommend? Any thoughts would be helpful. There are so many books out there and I want to get the best one.
Today I purchased "1001 Ways to Save Money...and Still Have a Dazzling Wedding" by: Sharon Naylor. I will let you know how it is.
Thank you Bees
