I wouldn't say they "suck" but I was very disappointed with the quality of the pocketfolds for the price I paid. The fold they sent me were very flimsy and even my fiance, who typically could care less about such things, said he would not send them out. They looked like construction paper. That said, they are allowing me to return them. For the money, I think you would be better off somewhere else- esp. with regard to the pocketfolds.

They had a sale going on and I was thinking about using them. Glad I came across this thread.

I used them for my thank you notes, and I had no problems whatsoever.  I'd happily use them again!

I had a great experience with them. They were wonderful to work with and I loved how my invitations came out. Granted, invitations weren't very important to me, so I wasn't willing to spend a lot of money on them. But for the amount I paid, I was very pleased with the outcome.

    What was your issue?

I also had a fabulous experience with them for my magnet STDs and return address labels. I just ordered and recieved my free sample invites and they're both gorgeous. I'm excited to work with them again for my invites.

I think it's a bit ridiculous to make such a proclamation trashing a company and not even explain why.

I was very happy with how our STDs turned out--they even did some tweaks to the text placement that I hadn't been able to. That said, I ordered our invites from Minted as I liked their designs better.

I wouldn't say they suck. The invitations we ordered through them came out fine. They made some changes that I requested and while the invitations weren't high end, fancy or letterpress, they worked out great.

Please tell why you are so unhappy with them. I'm thinking of using them and I love the samples they sent me. Although I may order the pockets elsewhere.

We did STDs through them and Christmas cards through their sister company Tiny Prints and I thought they came out great. What was the problem?

I had a great experience with WPD, ordering 75 invites, response cards, and reception cards from the "Elegant Architecture" style in the colors of my choosing. Everybody loves them, and they're just what I expected after getting my proofs, which I had to revise. It was a positive experience for me, no sucking at all!

    @Aure:

@ella86: So, I ordered a great invite design that happened to have matching STD's, table cards, and the whole nine! Which was great so we could have a cohesive look.  As the shipment came in, I noticed that things were missing from the boxes, although indicated by the packing slips that they were there.

Although WPD was great sending out the missing items, it got old after the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th time.  While completing the invites I realized that out of all 60 of them, about half went through my printer flawlessly, and the other half jammed.  I also noticed that (the explanation was that they were from different printers) a portion of the invites were starkly different in color, the color was Ecru, yet these almost looked tan.  Yet, I sent those out being sooooo sick of the back and forth.

After that, at the bottom of the pile was a stack of about 8 with a BIG WHITE LINE through them.  At this point I had to call and told the guy everything from the summer (when I originally ordered until now) and although they are sending me some free envelopes for the ones that got jammed, he said that the smooth, thinner, envelopes were a "fluke" and that I can expect jams because "our envelopes are not designed to be fed through a printer".  (Well maybe I could have afforded a calligrapher if I hadnt spent $600 on WPD.

At the end of the call he asked me what I wanted them to do for me as a consolation for my troubles.  I hinted that I would want to purchase shower/bachelorette invites from them too but now wasn't sure (my subtle attempt at a getting a discounton those) yet all I am getting is some free envelopes which he guaranteed me to jam anyway.

Regarding your envelope problem, maybe you can print labels instead?

    @19801111:

I ordered my invites, RSVP cards and TY cards and they all look gorgeous and came much faster than expected. Customer service was outstanding when I called to discuss changes that I wanted to make (extra line added) and the proofs were easy to do.

I'm not sure what you were printing yourself?  I'm planning to hand address all of my invites. Their prices are extremely reasonable compared to other invites I looked at...

I dunno, I had a terrific experience and HIGHLY recommend them

We ordered our invitations from them and they turned out really well. We both loved the textured paper and the colours are very crisp and look more expensive than they are.

They had an excellent selection and even sent us five free sample invitations when we were deciding. The five samples came in a a large folder that had sample cards of all the colours and textures of paper they offer.

We live in the UK and their international shipping charge was very reasonable. Our invitations came on time and were flawless.

It seems maybe you did have a 'fluke' experience. I am sorry that did happen.

We are holding a reception in Canada, where I am from, and we will be using Wedding paper divas again.

I had a fine experience with WPD. My brother got his rehearsal dinner invites from them and I got some thank you notes that I really love.

I would never use them for my wedding invitation as we were looking for something a bit more tailored/couture and higher quality (we ended up going with a fabulous letterpress company - expensive, but totally worth it and pretty much created by hand), but I would probably use them again for thank you notes.

For our rehearsal dinner and STDs we use minted.com. They are a really good company as well. Their customer service was a little curt at times - I felt they could have been a bit nicer - but I think they have neat designs that are a little different than other things I've seen.

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience, that sounds very frustrating.  It looks like you posted this two months ago, did they ever give you credit for the shower invites you wanted?  I would have bluntly asked.  :)

I just bought STD magnets from them yesterday because they were having a one-day 40% off sale.  I don't even have our engagement photos yet, but it turns out they will allow you to purchase things and send the picture later (they just hold the order).  Between emailing them and calling them, I've had great customer service.

I'm also surprised to see this.  I've had several wonderful experiences with Wedding Paper Divas and Tiny Prints.  I even recently wrote an email to the CEO of Tiny Prints and got a lovely email in return.  Think their customer service is awesome too.  I'm a loyal customer.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience :/

I got a handwritten note from the customer service rep I talked to about my order.  I was pleasantly surprised.  That's what I call customer service! I would order from them again and recommend them to my friends as well.

I had 2 fantastic experiences with them!  We ordered our Save the Date postcards from them and accidentally ordered 150 when some of our guests live together and we only really needed 90.  We called on the phone and they quickly adjusted it and refunded the money instantly.  When they came in they were high quality, beautiful and received many compliments.

Because of the fantastic service, we ordered our entire invitation suite from them.  They let us customize wording and helped us align everything.  Sure we spent almost $800 because they were letterpress, but we got 10 free of each item in a little envelope that said they noticed they printed more than our order required so to enjoy the free items compliments of WPD.  The cards were thick, ecru was the proper ivory color, and the envelopes had a beautiful burgundy liner that matches our theme.

We plan on ordering rehearsal dinner invites & thank you cards with them because we are so happy with the quality and service.

They let you order free samples of everything and those samples come with the envelopes, pocket folds, orliners so there is no excuse to not know what you're getting into when you order with them.

Could you maybe see if a professional grade printer (kinkos or something) would work better?

I ordered wonderful STD magnets from them and my invitations too. Now, I did the smart thing and ordered the 5-10 (depending on the day) free samples, so I knew the quality of their invitations and went for the William Arthur line, which is significantly nicer than their signature line. We just ordered our TYs from them too. For me, this website has been a time and money saver for sure. I would've spent easily 50% more on my invitations from a local store if I wanted William Arthur.
