@Marie1975:  First point: if you were legally married, you did have a wedding. There’s nothing wrong with a celebration of any sort of course, but I wouldn’t call it a wedding. (Even if you dress up in a wedding dress; and again, there’s nothing wrong with that).

It sounds like everyone close to you is difficult in some way. In that case, I suggest having no wedding party at all. Just invite everyone as guests. If you want speeches (the common role of Best man and sometimes the maid of honour), just ask the friend or relative you would most like to do it.
