We did:
The Beatles "Here Comes the Sun" for the entrance (for all of us... I didn't wanna have to pick 2 songs)
Joe Cocker "You Can Leave Your Hat On" for the Garter toss
Ludacris "Move B%&#&" to intro the toss (like the first 30 sec) and then
Blondie "One Way or Another" for the Actually toss... super stalkerish song lol
Our wedding party walked in to "Kids" by MGMT, and DH and I walked in to "Crazy in Love" by Beyonce/Jay Z.
We used I'm Shipping Up to Boston by the Dropkick Murphys (from the movie The Departed) for our entrance. All the guests got really crazy! No garter toss song because we didn't do one.
Our bridal party came in to Space Odyssey 2001(?) and we came in to the superman theme song. It was awesome!!! For the bouquet toss we did Cyndi Lauper's "Girls just wanna have fun".
Our whole bridal party is coming in to "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz. I know it's a pretty popular entrance song, but during my first bridesmaids get-together, that song was our weekend anthem, so it's personal for us too. Plus I love it.
Our entrance song is "Now That We Found Love" by Heavy D & The Boyz, our garter toss song is "Another One Bites The Dust" and our bouquet toss song is "Single Ladies".
We're all walking in to "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", by Queen. The garter toss song will be the "Mission Impossible" theme song, and the bouquet toss will be to "Wishin' & Hoping", by Anni Difranco. We're also doing the Anniversary Dance, which will be Clint Black's, "When I said I do."
Hmm, the only one I've thought of so far is for FI's brother (best man) who is obsessed with the West Wing - we'll have him walking in to the West Wing theme song. Beyond that, we have no idea! We're not doing a garter toss/bouquet toss so no songs there, but we are doing an anniversary dance of probably two, maybe three songs so I need to start looking for ideas for those songs! FI had the hilarious, yet inappropriate, idea of having "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye for the last of the anniversary songs when the only couples left out there are the ones who have been married for 30+ years. Whilst hilarious, our older relatives may not think so! :-)
hubs and i were odd ones, we wanted something with a good bass but nothing too predictable. so we opted for muse as we both love them madly. we chose "resistance" because it has this awesome introduction. in retrospect, people loved it because if you know muse, their music has so much depth and drama. :)
The party is coming into the theme song from Space Jam!! I am so excited about it!!
I've been really torn about this. It's between TSN's Hockey Night Theme (I'm a huge hockey fan), or "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" by the Darkness.
Our parents and wedding party are walking in to "Ain't Nothin Wrong With That" by Robert Randolph and the Family Band. We're walking in to "Thunderstruck" by ACDC (his pick!).
No garter toss.
