I like your ideas and the songs but I am just not sure about whether 6 different songs will mesh together. Could it be too much? I think most of the weddings I went to there was one song played for the bridal party and one song for the bride & groom's entrance. Of course, I am no way a pro at this. I am interested in what the other bees have to say.
I know at our wedding, we played "We are Family" for the bridal party and the Rocky theme song for our entrance.
Well I have been loking around online and it seems like a lot of people are changing up their songs for different people these days. I think that changing it for every single person is a little too much, but I figured just a few different could be pretty cool!
I would love to see what other bees think too though!
@cc8139 We're doing different songs for everyone too. Our DJ said it's totally normal and common. And I'm stealing your parent's song! I was going to have my mom enter to Walkin' on Sunshine but I like Simply the Best much better. :)
Cool choices! I say test it out first and make sure the songs blend. My wedding party is going ot walk in tothe Black Eye Pees song that goes " Tonight is going to be a good night... I got a feeling" I think it's called I got a feeling, but not sure. And My groom and I will walk in to Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash and I'll have the Mariachi's doing the trumpet part!
Thanks Jenn23, yeah I love the idea of everyone walking out to different songs. At first we were going to have the whole wedding party walk out to "I gotta Feeling" but then we have been to three weddings since we decided on that and they ALL used it. So in a way I am glad, because we like our new ideas so much!! :)
I've usually only heard one song for the wedding party and then a different one for the bride and groom, but I say if the songs mesh well, go with it. It adds some nice dimension to the entrances. When I first heard that Black Eyed Peas song, I loved it and soooo wanted it, but one of the radio stations I listen to on my way to work remixed it into a Phillies chant (I'm a huge Yankees fan yeah!!!) and then it completely ruined the song for me lol.
I agree with roddybride..it’s way to much. You almost need a mashup of all those 6 songs into 1 song or you can go with an already created mashup. Check this out DJ Earworm- United State Of Pop 2009
