I'm not sure exactly how far you're willing to travel, but here are a few ideas...
-Talk to an old antique shop (I know there are lots in WLA) to see if you can borrow the store for a bit. One of my favorites is the Get More House
11276 Washington Pl
Culver City, CA 90230
(310) 397-0171
-On the corner of Washington Blvd & Centinela Ave., there's an old comic book shop. It's located in a 2-story brick building and has some funky art painted on the outside (e.g. Spiderman trying to jump out of a window)
-If you're willing to travel out a little farther, there's the Venice Canals
-Also a bit of a drive is downtown Culver City, which is where Culver Blvd. & Washington Blvd. meet
Good luck, mlindsey!

I am stumped, so I'm turning to the Hive for help....
I am in a friends wedding in May. Her ceremony/reception is at a venue in Culver City (Culver Events on Washington). Originally, the wedding party was going to leave after the ceremony, travel to a park about 20 minutes away to take pictures, but after giving it some thought she nixed that plan (it could potentially eat up way too much time to get there, take the pics, and get back to the venue). One of my BM assignments is to find somewhere for the wedding party to take pictures, but I can't think of anywhere! I'm open to any suggestions that are a bit funky or outside the box as long as they would make great pics. Thanks!
