@Katnisseverdeen:  welcome

if there are important family memebers make sure you get those people on ur list.. i know my dad is getting up there in age so i am dead set on each of my children getting a nice photo with their grandpa. and that kinda goes with mother of groom since she has cancer.

If your photographer needs to know to take photos of stuff like: “Processional, Reciting the vows, Exchanging of the rings, Kiss” I’d be seriously nervous that I hired the wrong person to photograph my wedding.  The only list a professional wedding photographer should need from you is a family formal list.

@continuumphotography:  Another +1.  Please don’t make your photographer’s life miserable with these lists.  Cut out of the obvioius stuff or they WILL miss moments worrying about such a list.  Don’t micromanage.  If you don’t have trust in your vendor, you hired the wrong person.

I completely agree with continuumphotography. A professional should already know what photos to take. I only request a list of photos from a client it they are not the traditional you-should-already-know photos. Just give him/her a list of formal portraits you want, so you make sure you get all of them.

Don’t forget groom reaction to seeing the bride for the first time! I have seen a few of these and think they are priceless!

However, I also agree not to get too detailed and drive your photog crazy!
