My photographer emailed me asking for a list off all family photos we want to get on the wedding day and also asked me to list any photo inspirations I’ve seen from other weddings that I would like to have, but I’m having a hard time coming up with anything. The family photos were no problem but I can’t think of any other shots I want to make sure we get… anyone else thought about this?

Yes Im really hoping to get my dads reaction, my FIs when im walking toward him, a shot of my guests, one with myself/FI/our kids, one with my sisters and myself, some shots of my dress, my FI and his friends, of course our first kiss and exchange of our rings.

@PocahontasP: Ooo dad’s reaction is a good one! My photographer said she would be sure to get pictures of the rings, my dress, the flowers, and all of the details like that but I’m still trying to think of other things I want photos of.

@hlayers: I did a number of searches on Wedding Bee in the recaps section and copy/pasted photos that appealed to me. I also searched a number of photographers’ sites.
Then I made little booklets with the photos under different headings – getting ready, ceremony, reception etc which I had handy on the day to refer to. You can give them to your photographer.
My husband (professional photographer) did the photos for my daughter’s wedding, and we used these books to remind us of the shots I/my daughter wanted. I have now given the booklets to another bride to be that I know.
Unfortunately, due to ‘putting on the dress’ dramas, we didn’t get a photo of me dressing my daughter…. Oh Well! But we got the other 99% of shots we both wanted.
There are some amazing shots that you can find on the web.
