I love your bouqet! And the candy buffet - did you DIY the bags? So pretty....You and your groom look so happy! Congratulations - it was clearly a very special wedding!
I am so glad that rain didn't put a damper on your day. I am afraid of it raining - but it is great to see a beautiful wedding and a happy bride regardless of weather - it makes me stop worrying about the weather!
Congrats!
My FAVORITE picture is the one where you are walking barefoot. I love it!
and I adore your flowers too, beautiful. Please tell us more about finding a dress for $12!
wow - beautiful wedding, fantastic moments in the photos...i love that you had such a laid back attitude about the snafus that could have easily ruined your day - everything looks like it turned out wonderfully. everybody looks so happy!
Congrats! thank you for sharing your photos! I love the photo of you walking barefoot to the ceremony, you look soooo happy :)
Thanks ladies!!!
Well I knew I wasn't going to be able to do the 3" heels for the ceremony- I just had those mainly for the first dance LOL... hence the barefoot! :) It was supposed to be on the beach afterall!
The bags came from papermart & I made the labels with avery 2 3/4 x 4 labels on my computer in word. All the containers were from Wal-Mart!
The dress came from lane bryant.com on a clearance thing they had last fall... it was a total fluke... I bought three just in case one size was too small/big! LOL. I say for a good deal, just hit the net and search- Ebay is an awesome resource too- my friend just bought a gown to "trash" for $25.
My bouquet was actually all fakes! The flowers were kind of expensive b/c I was very picky about the quality- but I got most from Pier 1, Michael's, Hobby Lobby & JoAnn's fabric.
Also, the pink "tablecloths & runners" were hot pink pashminas I got on clearance from Pier 1 (I work there) and bought for like $7.50 and $5 (various clearance stages).

Okay I just wrote this whole long post about my wedding & had great pics!!! BOO! So I'm just going to post a few here and provide links to the rest... shoes
and the $12 yes twelve dollar dress I wasn't going to wear but the zipper on the custom eyelet gown broke as I was zipping up. I didn't get the sequins off (I know some people like them but I wanted to rip them off and use the pink sash I spent good money on!!).
Location: It was rainy on and off all day and the rental company refused to set up chairs on a wet beach so my quick thinking sister decided it was a go to hold the ceremony under the gazebo
On my way!!!
oh after waiting 45 minutes, I swear I thought this smile couldn't be any bigger (hair malfunction- just book a pro with an appointment you cant procrastinate on! whatever you do!)
I only got this picture
because people couldn't get past me here to get to the party!
ring bearers:
my brother and his little girlWhere's your dad again???? Oh trying to sneak off... grrr
First dance
He forgot to ask everyone to stand up and raise their glasses--- so after his speech he just said oh yeah, 'cheers' in the most geekiest voice- and that's why I love him! LOL!
Details: The hot pink table runners never got finished (one too many DIY projects and delegated to an unreliable MIL and then cousin- I should have just done them months ago MYSELF!) so the hotel decided that maroon napkins would punch up the tables (beh not my color scheme whatever!).
and our sweetheart table
Home made cake- bought the chocolate shells though :)
and candy buffet- our families hadn't been to any weddings in about 4 or 5 years, so they thought we were creative with our favors hehe
Flowers: my bouquet
and mine next to my sisters and a pomander (flower girl)
Flower girl flowers:
and basket
centerpieces DIY (what I get for getting drunk the night before & blacking out--- not exactly what I wanted but good enough not to stress over!)
