Okay ya’ll I promised I would post a cheery post about my wedding day! So here it is! Long but has TONS of great pics!
Here’s the beach view from my hotel room with the gazebo
Here’s me on my way to meet my future hubby!!!
and mike waiting on me! (I was 45 minutes late due to major hair issues- hire a pro and make an appointment you can’t miss)
It was raining, so we didn’t get the sandy toes ceremony I planned (with PA and chairs, etc), so my quick thinking sister improvised and we did the ceremony on the gazebo that goes to the beach from the hotel.
Us during the ceremony I really wanted a picture with everyone in it because I just thought they looked so cool— and it really did! And since they had to walk through here to get to the reception- I blocked it off and told everyone to turn around and walk towards the beach! LOL There were only two people not in it… one of Mike’s aunt and her husband…
Total inside joke, Mike forgot the raise your glasses, cheers part! LOL! & if you wanna see more I’ll post more on my blog later as I get them edited to credit my kick butt photog! The details: my dress that I wanted to remove this sequinedy (sp? is this even a word?!?) stuff & use a pink sash I bought… but it worked out as my something blue b/c I forgot the seam ripper & my anklet I made!
flower girl pomanders & basket (three angels total)
the tables- as you can see the table runners didn’t get finished & there are no lanterns (another story) and for some reason the hotel didn’t have enough white napkins so they had to borrow marroon (why I still dont know why they didn’t ask for white) But they look pretty!
Sweetheart table and and the flowers on the sweet heart table- my favs ranunculus and baby peonies
the flowers on an accent table @ the reception
and the cake I baked most of (too drunk to finish it- my sister pulled an all-nighter) and my two friends put together with absolutely no guidance or pictures- and it was gorgeous!
yes candy buffets are played out but there hasn’t been a wedding in my family in over 4 or 5 years so I knew they were behind the times on this "trend" 🙂
we are mike & michelle- get it, m&m hehe (ALL PHOTOS TAKEN BY CHRISTY WHITEHEAD from freelance4hire.com)
