I LOVE your dress! :) You guys look beautiful and so happy!
So lovely! I love your bridal party's dresses! And I second sadie's question: Who designed that dress???
Congratz! The pics are awesome! You (& your DH and everybody else) looked stunning!
Thanks everyone :-)
The dress was made by a South African designer named Karen Ter Morshuizen (http://www.lunarlife.co.za). The bodice was taken verbatim from a dress in her 2007 runway collection, then I designed the rest of the dress with Karen from there. The ostrich feather was so fun and whimsical (I saw it on another of her dresses) that I desperately wanted to incorporate it. I was really happy with the finished product.
They look great! You guys are stunning and your wedding looked so awesome!
Beautiful photos! You look stunning - your dress is gorgeous! You can feel the love and joy from the photos - congratulations!!! and Safe Travels!

I've been on Weddingbee for so many months that I really want to share this with all of you -- you're like my sisters now!
Nearly two weeks ago I married the love of my life. What a day! I was amazed at how calm I felt throughout the whole thing (apart from my jitters about a wicked gale force wind that began to pick up just hours before the ceremony). But I suppose there simply wasn't anything to feel nervous about when it came to walking down the aisle and taking his hand. Being surrounded by our family and friends made our day perfectly comfortable and magical.
We were married on an apple orchard farm in Elgin Valley, South Africa. The ceremony took place in a 3-sided boat house that faces a dam, and the reception was in a modern-refurbished barn. I loved our venue, I'm crazy about my dress, everyone looked beautiful and, best of all, we all had an amazing time celebrating our marriage!
Here's a sneak preview of our pics that our photographer posted on her blog: http://www.lizellelotter.co.za/neil-and-laura-elgin/ (Note the fun Charlie's Angels and Statue of Liberty poses that my BMs and I did together as random nods to our American heritage!)
**The link is acting funny on my side. If it doesn't open to the proper page, we are the "Latest Shoot" on the bottom left corner of the blog page with the 4 guys standing against the blue/gray sky.**
