We are about to print of 5 (wow... that feels like ALOT!) wedding pictures. 2 for our living room, 2 for above our nightstands and 1 really big one (like 20x30 big) above our bed. I am just wondering where other people have put their wedding pictues and how they turned out! Post pictures!
If you don't have a picture of the picture (that felt redundant) hanging on a wall, post a picture that you WANT to hang! I wanna see 'em!
We printed and framed about 10 pictures for our one wall in the living room. I haven’t found the ambition to actually hang any of them yet so I don’t know if they’ll all make the cut. We’ll also be framing our favorite picture for over our bed. We have an 18"x22" (or 24", can't remember) frame that we used for our seating chart that we’ll probably use. It will either be this picture or the same one but with an antiquey kind of filter…

We have a small place and don't have any up yet, though are planning to do our favorite in about a 10x13 in a nice frame for a bedroom wall. We don't want to put too many wedding pics up, just will have the album free anytime anyone wants to see more.
I have not even thought about hanging pictures yet! TERRIBLE! I know! I haven't even gotten out engagement photos to our parents! I am an awful human. haha...
We have a 16x24 canvas in our diningroom from our engagement shoot, and I'm actually working on doing a collage of canvases to fill it out and I think I'll move it to our living room. I'm trying to pick some of the detail shots and more artsy fartsy ones so it doesn't seem like a wall of wedding photos, lol! When I get the mock up done I'll post it for you :)
Our photographer printed us a canvas that is hanging on the wall in our living room above a table that has a ton of family photos on it. It's this picture from our introduction

We have a little 4x6 framed on a shelf in the living room, and then two 5x7s in our bedroom, and that's it! This is in our bedroom (one of the frames isn't a wedding photo):

Well I bought this collage frame on black friday and printed off like 150 4X6's so I will pick 10 out and put them in there. Not sure where it will go, since we don't have our house yet.
I haven't put any big wedding photos up, and I have been married 10 months! Our room is already decorated really cute, and I don't want to take anything down to put wedding photos up. I have a couple 4x6 and 5x7 of some family photos from that day (like pictures of me and my sisters, DH and his siblings), but that's about it. I am really weird about decor, and I feel like putting up a bunch of photos will ruin our design aesthetic.
@MissDareDevil:that's exactly how I feel! I never decorated with lots of photos before the wedding, so I don't really want to after the wedding either!
Okay I lied. This is turning into a wall of "us". We have too many great ones, I don't know how to weed them out!!! (Not that that's a bad problem to have)
We had several printed and put them up collage style in out living room. There is also a proposal shot, our invitation framed, and the wooden piece has our initials and wedding date--it was our ring "pillow." We also were a little worried it would look like the wall of us, but I think the shots we chose toned it down a little? At least I hope so!
One 8X10 on the table in the living room with the rest of the family pics. The other pics on that table are smaller so it really stands out. There is also and 8X10 collage on the mantle above the fireplace. It's up there with the pics of the kids. DH has a pic on his office desk here at home and I have a pic of us on my desk at work.
I have six wedding pics in or near our formal living room. DH calls it "The Wedding Room." LOL.
@CanadianMermaid: Thanks! I just wish my bolero wasn't cockeyed.
@UpstateCait: If it makes you feel better, I have a keen eye for detail, and I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out. I think your pic is gorgeous!
I love these! I can't wait to actually get them hanging up. When we have more wall space we will probably hang some more. I will take pictures of them hanging up later. It is my project for while Mr. Hedgie is in San Francisco. But for now...
This one is 20x30 above our bed. I thought it looked pretty on my computer. Blown up it looks stunning! I mean, you can really see our faces and even the words on the windows behind us where it says "Bass Hall" which I LOVE because it is a pretty damn awesome place to get married! Since they don't usually do weddings.

We put each of these on either side of our bed above our respective nightstands. Kinda a "His & Her" type thing.

And these two are just in frames. Although the second one is in a floating frame and I am not liking it too much. It blends in with the white wall behind it. I am definately thinking about getting another frame for it.

We have one for each of our nightstands, one on the wall in the livingroom, and then a collection of 3 little ones near our front door (and beside it 3 of our engagement photos). Our photographer took lots of great candid shots of guests at the wedding, so we put up a collection of our friends and family in our guest bedroom. :)
@Ms Hedgehog: love your last pic. your photographer captured a more relaxed and natural pic.
@AbbieMason: I love it! And I love that you framed your invite too. So sweet. I wish there was an easy way for me to frame ours but they were multi-page booklets that I sewed together. I wonder if I could take one apart and put it in a frame....
PS- I also love your little plant in a jar underneath! So cute!
@AbbieMason: I hadn't even thought about framing our invites. Good idea!
@CanadianMermaid:Thanks!
@katsupgirl:@bakerella: thanks! My great aunt actually had it mounted and framed as part of our wedding gift. We loved the idea and she had the framer pick up the pink in our invCronin the matting. She's from the south and she said it is a standard thing people do down there.
I have a 16x20 canvas in our dining room and I'm going to print some 5x7's to put on the same wall, just haven't decided which ones yet. I also have an 8x10 printed, but no frame and no spot for it. I also want to put some family one's up somewhere in the house but I'm running out of wall space!
Well... we decided that personally that we didnt want wedding photos or enlarge wedding photos in our house because we prefer artwork. So I on purpose did not get any blown up but made a coffee table book instead with all our wedding photos.
However, my mum decided for christmas because we have no wedding photos up in our house that we needed at least one. So she gave us a a lifesize photo of our wedding on canvas frame. Its about a metre tall!!!!!!!! Its so huge that I cannot look at it whatsover, without wanting to chuck it in the bin because I get freaked out looking at myself. It is sitting with the photo to the wall at the moment because I dont know where to hang it.
I hate it so much but I have to be diplomatic and hang it somewhere. Im kinda thinking the laundry?? ;)

This is in our living room. Three shelves with silver and black frames, clustered around our initial (it's metal, a little hard to see that in the pic). It took me forever to find the right size letter, but I love how it turned out!!
The pictures are: Top (L-R): During the ceremony at the altar, kissing shot outside, me throwing the bouquet, outside shot of us.
Bottom (L-R): Classic car (1967 White Rolls-Royce), an 8x10 of the wedding party, and finally us kissing outside underneath the fireworks.
I would also love to place our invitation into a shadowbox, but haven't found the right size shadowbox yet.
So today I cleaned off this black shelf that I have in the living room that mostly held movies and a couple framed photos. I put all the movies on a shelf downstairs. I am going to go to the dollar store this week and buy some frames and print some family shots from our wedding and put them on this shelf. This will solve the problem of not having much wall space and then it is easy to switch the pictures out if we want.
We just moved into our new place, so right now there are no wedding photos displayed, but in our last apartment we had a picture wall in our entryway and 3 out of 10 pictures are of our wedding. There were no other wedding photos displayed, but I plan to print one out of me and my bridesmaids for my vanity area and one of DH and his groomsmen for our office.
We have one wedding photo in the family room (5x7), the rest are hanging collage style in the hallway. There are 2 8x10s, a 5x7 and we had someone give us a really nice framed invitation, so that's up in the hallway as well. I didn't go with any larger sizes because 1-we don't have the money for it right now and more importantly 2-we don't have the wall space to hang any larger photos.
haha i happen to have a picture of a picture - my mom had one of our pictures put on canvas and i had my dad frame it so i took a picture of it to send to her when we hung it up :) oo you can (kind of) see another one on the bottom shelf too :)

@bluebonnet: I ove this! Can I ask where you bought that table? :)
We made a wedding photo collage, on the main wall in our living room. I found this pic where you can see most of the arrangement in the background.
@futuremrsv: I seriously love that! Where did you get the frames and shelves? I seriously want to shamelessly copy your idea. lol
@Ms Hedgehog: Thanks!!! I am pretty proud of it!!! I ordered the shelves online from Westelm. They are called picture ledges and here is the link http://www.westelm.com/products/deep-picture-ledge-w485/?pkey=e|picture%2Bledge|2|best|0|1|24||1&cm_src=PRODUCTSEARCH||NoFacet-_-NoFacet-_-Spring%202012%20D1%20Billboards-_- I tried to get them in the store but they said they were discontinued so I do not know how long they will sell them online, however I see that they still have them in stock. I ordered two 24 inch ones and a 36 one. They are solid wood and very sturdy!!!
The frames I got from Michaels on sale. They have a large variety of frames there and if you shop at the right time you can get some very good deals!!! Can't wait to see yours :)
I'm still working on getting our wedding photos up somewhere in the house, and am loving the idea of 3 shelves of photos! :) Especially since I'm not sure how I feel about large blown up photos of ourselves in our house. Not really our style! Beautiful work, everyone!
