We're getting married in Chicago in May 2010 and are currently looking for wedding planners. Please post if you have any recommendations for a wedding planner (we'd like one with a bit of experience, possibly with Indian weddings).

I used Simply Perfect by Melissa for my wedding and she was wonderful! Her prices are very competitive, she is very professional, organized, and nice to work with. She provided references when we hired her, and I called 3 of them - all 3 adored her and couldn't say enough good things about her. My wedding day rained and a lot of changes had to be made, but she took over all the worry and I never felt that anything went wrong. Maybe things did go wrong, but I didn't know it!
