@KeenNeoGeo: you can sign up on the knot and they have a planner that tells you what you should do month by month. That should help you decide what needs done now since you have other obligations that take up a lot of time.

If you’re going to DIY your invites, now would be a good time to start. You can also go ahead and book a venue and start contacting your vendors. You’re not too far ahead, so you can work on any DIYs that can be stored easily. Obviously, food is out of the question, but if you can decide on it without changing your mind and store whatever it is, go ahead and work on it! How much you can do in advance will really be dictated by how much room you have to store crafts :).
