I use a binder with a notebook in it as well and an expandable file folder. My binder dividers are labled with the following

-budget
-guest list
-ceremony
-reception
-gifts
-DIY projects
-invites/paper goods

I three-hole punched copies of my contracts and did it by that. In the front I put a sheet that listed the cost of all of my vendors, payments made and when payments are due.  I have an envelope titled Wedding Receipts that I keep in there as well.
