The best part is getting the venue we wanted for less than we anticipated, and the worst part is trying to stay in budget.
The best part for me so far is watching my families come together to give and help where they can. I am amazed at the response a small request for help gets!
The worst part so far is trying to not over plan. So far, my FI has done a good job editing my choices so that I don't overload myself with ideas and crafts.
The best part for me was finalizing buying my dress. The low so far has been the budget and guest list woes! I still have a long way to go, though.
Best part- Wedding dress shopping and seeing the look on my mom's face!
Challenging part- Finding a venue at first. But now that that's done, everything is good!
The best part has been general planning towards getting married! =)
The worst is all the little things I want to do that we're not doing because it just doesn't matter in the big scheme of things. :( Even though I want it!!! Like custom cake toppers. Sigh.
Oh yeah, definitely the venue search. It took us 7 months because we had limited trips back home. It just blows. Esp because the venue coordinator is really starting to annoy me.
worst part ... not getting the date I wanted and having to settle for a different date(original date was a bad time of year work wise for my dad, and my secondary date, everything was booked up). Oh, and watching my FH parents split up mid-year before our wedding.
My least favourite part is prodding FH to get involved..he was totally involved in the big stuff, but doesn't want to worry about the little stuff (i.e. get off your butt and go pick out tuxes).
best part - Spending lots of time planning with my amazing mom.
So far, the best part was being able to have a clear vision of what I wanted, and seeing it come together. I normally get overwhelmed when there's too many decisisions.
The worst part has been my parents. Hands down. My Dad isn't coming, and my Mom is trying to run the show. But FI is patient, (he says I'm cute when I rant) and every once in awhile, when he sees me start to get too upset, we go out for something fun. Like a midnight movie, or a hike with the dog, or bowling :)
Best part of wedding planning has definetly been buying my wedding dress. I never knew I could feel that way by putting on a dress. Most of the planning has been really fun and exciting, me and my mom especially loved the florist.
Worst part has been figuring out how to pay for it during this difficuly financial time. FI was out of work for 6 months last year and my mother recently lost her job.
Best parts so far- Finding a wedding dress the first time we went out to look and the other best part so far is our friend is a professional pastry chef and she's doing our wedding cake for no charge.
Worst part so far- Finding a venue!!!!!!!!!!!! Making the guests lists and getting addresses from everyone. We are hopefully making a deposit on a place this weekend, cross your fingers for us! <3

I just posted this question for the newlyweds about newlywed life, so I thought I'd also ask our brides-to-bee, too!
What's been the best part of your wedding planning so far?
And your most challenging/least favorite part?
