I thought of two other meanings for ED when I read your thread title.  =)

What has helped you stay binge-free in the past?

Can you avoid the kitchen at work, then?   We don’t have a kitchen at work, so there is no fridge and no microwave…so I bring cold food every day in an insulated bag.  Would that be possible for you?

@peachacid:  I also immediately thought it was the other ED, and was very interested in how someone named jenjen would have that issue 🙂

@reebee:  Yep that’s the other one I thought of…and then I read her post.

AND I am sorry for making jokes in this thread, because eating disorders are SO SERIOUS.  =(

When you feel stressed and think you’re about to binge, they usually suggest going for a walk or do something that will occupy your mind and hands (non food related).  If needed, take a break from the boards.  Good luck and hugs to you!

I’m sorry this is haloening for yOu! First I think it’s important to take a deep breath and Dont let yourself stress so much. In the end it’s just a wedding and this should be a happy time! The most important thing is to remember you are getting married to the man of your dreams, the wedding is just an added extra! 🙂 Is there anything you can do to distract yourself when this happens? Maybe go do something, chew gum, take a walk? Maybe exercising if you don’t already will help relieve some of the stress. Or go get a pedicure? Anything to make you feel good! I don’t have an ED so I’m just trying to think of how I stop myself from eating when I DO feel bingey and can’t stop myself… Hope you feel better!
