@xoxo_712:  good idea. I just sent my this week. Most everyone that was invited already knew. (Small wedding) our RSVPs are for April 15th and the hotels have to be reserved by April 3rd. It just really depends on your wedding

@xoxo_712:  We’ve done a lot in the past month as well.  We did our menu tasting and are doing our cake tasting a few days from now.  We got started on ordering our invitations (we’re having them custom made so it’s a bit of a process), picked up my dress and the BM dresses, my mom bought her dress, and my FI is finally starting to look into the tuxes.  We booked post-reception transportation, took care of our hotel block, booked our honeymoon, ordered table linens and some other decor.  I did my boudoir shoot (which FI has no idea about), I booked my makeup trial and made a day-of appointment, and have started working out a day-of timeline with my photographer and hair stylist.

I am realizing how much I still do not have done. eekkk

I still need to do flowers

Invitations (I’ve picked ot but haven’t ordered)

Transportation (limo/shuttle)

Menswear 🙁

I did confirm my hotel block and have my dress already which only needs to be altered.  I feel good about all I have accomplished but am still panicking about all I have left to do.

@loveinthelibrary  I did a boudoir shoot as well and found it to be so fun. I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did.  My FI has no idea either.

xoxo_712:  I just sent out almost all of our invitations, they have an RSVP deadline of April 15th. We are hoping for approx 100 people and many are just family members so we will start contacting people the end of April if we don’t hear back from them.

If they haven’t booked accomodations they may be out of luck unless they want to pay extra for a large cabin.

xoxo_712:  I am wondering what readings and music you picked out? We are still looking up Catholic wedding readings that resonate with us. Any suggestions?

xoxo_712:  For the boudoir shoot, you can go either way.  You can have a friend help or hire a photographer.  I went with a photographer that specializes in boudoir shoots and I reccomend this route.  I was able to bring my sister with me which helped me to be more comfortable, but both she and her assistant we so fun and down to earth it ended up being easy. The photographer told me exactly how to pose and where to look (to the tiniest detail).  I was also extremely nervous before doing the shoot, but afterwards ended up feeling more confident than I ever have before.  It’s a great experience.  Another plus of using a photographer is that they will retouch your images (things like lets say your skin looks uneven in places)–Nothing out of control.  It will still look like you. I ended up amazed at how my photos turned out.  Definite do it, not only for your FI, but for yourself !!!
