@legenwaitforitdary:  Replace your live band with favors and we’re identical.  I’d take a live band over a cheap chocolate truffle in a stupidly fancy box any day so you win 😉

We had everything on your poll except Destination and live band (considered both though!)

@legenwaitforitdary:  Exactly the same as you! Still 50 / 50 on guestbook though.

I feel like I would never actually read it plus I will have cards with the same well wishes anyway.

I checked off Guestbook, but it wasn’t a book. We had people sign a photo mat, and we’ll be putting our favorite photo in the mat and frame. It’ll be sweet and nostalgic to always be able to see our friends’ and families’ loving words for us everyday!

My others: open bar and bridal party (just one on each side). We had a dance floor, but nobody really partook, which we totally expected. It wasn’t a destination wedding, but we did get married at the beach like I’ve always wanted!

The only think on that list that we are having is a bridal party!

We had edible favors (M&M’s in tulle circles with handmade thank you tags on each one).

Guest book, it was from Walmart and cost all of 8 dollars.  I coudn’t stomach spending more than that on what was essentially a notebook with a fancy cover lol.

    We had a bridal party.

We had an after party as the church was very formal and devoid of drinking and dancing which we got to do at the after party.  It also was a great opportunity to mingle with our guests.  We actually flew back home instead of making people travel to us so that doesn’t really count as destination lol.

So that’s 4 things on the list then.

@FirstComesLoveNZ:  We did a giant Jenga and everyone signed a brick, so we read it when we play it in the garden, it’s quite fun seeing whose brick you will pull out!  The advantage of guest book of some description and the card is people write the cards before the wedding with lovely well wishes, and a lot of people made comments about the actual wedding on the Jenga bricks/guest book!

We had an open bar and that’s it….no garter toss, no favors, no nothing…just us getting married in about five minutes and then all the crab legs and booze a person could want.

We will have a DIY photo booth, the guest book is actually little cards to be put in a small treasure chest thing my FI decorated for me (this was 2 Christmases ago before we were engaged but it matches our theme perfectly!), dancing, an “open bar”… guests won’t pay anything but we have to provide all the alcohol so it won’t be like, a totally full bar… beer, wine, two signature drinks, and basic alcohols and mixers.

The favors will just be little boxes for guests to take home a treat from the dessert bar if they so choose

We are having a bridal party, I have a reception dress, although it willl probbaly be more used for the AFTER PARTY which is rock and glow bowling!
