Hi lovely ladies,
Did any of you do any particular programs to tone and tighten before your big day? I have thought about 30 day shred or the BGG. Anyone have good expirences? Bad ones? I have about 9 months to be lookign my best.

Honestly, I’ve found that yoga has done wonders for toning! I used to do one 1.5 hour vinyasa class each week and loved it. Not exactly a high impact exercise if that’s what you’re looking for, but if not I highly recommend making yoga part of your routine.

I suggest doing a group circuit fitness program that focuses on training and educated you on macros. Hour long, go at least 2-3 times a week. Do not waste your time running on a treadmill for 30 minutes a few times a week thinking that will do it. It won’t. Getting into shape is painful and you’ll need an investment (money, peer pressure and consequences associated with missing a class) to motivate you to stick with it.

I would look into Fitness Blender’s programs. They have great ones with a variety of workouts. I wouldn’t suggest 30DS only because it get soooo boring, and it really isn’t good to do the same exercises 10 days in a row.

I am an accountability coach for Beachbody programs and they have a on demand package that will let you stream on your computer, apple tv, laptop, etc. It is an annual package that will give you a variety of programs such as; P90x, 21 day fix, Yoga, etc. Depending on what you want to do whether it be Cardio or Gain Muscle/Tone, there is something for you.
