Ok, so don't laugh at me because I haven't been to alot of weddings so I have no idea what type of acitivty a wedding consists of.

So this is what I understand and please correct me if I missed anything.

    Grand Entrance

    Dinner

    Fist Dance

    Champagne toast

Maid of Honor and bestman toast

Table to table toast (bride and groom does this)

    bouquet toss

    dance

    Not sure what follows

    Please advice.

For your programs I would include some info about the ceremony itself:
    Welcome
    Readings
    Songs
    Vows
    Benediction
    etc

    And the reception:
    Grand Entrance
    First course
    Toasts
    Second course
    Cake Cutting
    Seve cake as third course
    First dance
    Daddy Dance
    Bouquet toss/Garter toss
    Open Floor dancing
    Grand Exit

    Hope that helps!

For my reception the order went as follows (but remember that it's your wedding and you can do what you want! Also- you should check with your venue, because the food service might dictate some of the order/timing):

    Entrance

    First Dance

    Main Course served

    Toasts

    Dancing

    Cake Cutting

    Parent Dances

    More Dancing

Do you have a site coordinator or DOC if so they can help you figure out a timeline of things that you want and dont want at the ceremony and reception. I know that we are not having a receiving line at the church because that takes up way to much time.
