(Closed) wedding reading not “love” themed

My first thought is “what if it’s not delightful weather on your wedding day”? Plus, it’s awfully short–if I heard it at a wedding my reaction might be “well, that was kind of short and random”. But I do like the sentiment behind it.

Do you need to have second reading?

@mainejen:  Makes sense. This could be a good pick, then. I’d just be prepared for people to giggle if it’s pouring rain out when she mentions “delightful weather”. 🙂  At least that’s what my family would do.

@mainejen:  I think it’s perfectly fine to read at a wedding. Personally, I prefer that the readings are short. Mostly because I have a short attention span. 🙂
