Usually the point of the bridal party entrance is to play an upbeat song and to create that fun atmosphere to start the night out. What if we do not introduce our bridal party at all and just have my fiance and I introduced and walk in from different doors and meet on the dance floor to do our first dance. Is that okay in not including the Bridal Party (I know a lot of times guests don’t really care who everyone is anyway) and would my idea be boring since it’s a slow song and not the usual party introduction kind of thing? I figured it gets the first dance out of the way before we have to eat. lol.

Do whatever works for you. Something that shocks alot of people is the idea that tons of couples don’t have any introductions at all at the reception (they figure it’s taken care of at the end of the ceremony and they won’t be getting anyone new before the reception starts who doesn’t know either of them), and many people have never heard of it.

I think it’s nice to publically recognize and introduce the wedding party. You and your husband can always come in and still go straight to your first dance if you wanted.

You can also introduce the wedding party during the speeches.

Oh man I haven’t even thought of the speeches. That is very true though. My wedding is exactly 90 days away today and I’ve already done so much and I feel like there is still a ton to do. My head hurts lol.
