So the place i work at the owner are opening a restaurant in the same plaza but like 3 stores down from where i work. I wanted to ask you BEE’s what you thought about having a reception inside a restaurant. Ive spoke to the owners and they told me that they will be having private functions but the only thing the city wont allow is a professional DJ nor a dance floor. I dont think many people that i invite will dance but im thinking they prolly can dance in there seat? Ive attached picks of the restaurant so you guys can see kind of the layout of the place. Please tell me your thoughts..

Will you get the entire restaurant to yourselves? If yes, that might be kind of cool. I wouldn’t want to go there if other random people were dining there though. It looks a little small for that and it might get awkward.

Well the restaurant itself seems like it would be a really cool hip place to go…But in my opinion…I think it would really seperate people…It would kinda of disconnect people away from the Bride and Groom…People might begin socializing differently instead of celebrating your marriage…Just what I think..

To me it seems kind of sectioned off for a reception. I’m thinking that maybe your family will be in one section, his in a section, your friends in one, etc. I don’t know that much mingling would get done. If that doesn’t matter to you I think it could be a cool place.

Sounds awesome. I don’t think the sections are any different than separate tables. Once people eat they’ll circulate and it will be a great party.

i like the style and the idea but what will be your solution for the music if you cant get a professional dj? that will be my only worry… but if you think it work with your vision and budget then go for it
