I've never heard of The Bay so I say Sears. Keep in mind that if you have out of town guests, you want them to have access to your registries (some people don't buy online).
The Bay.
I started my first registry at Sears, and not only did they have a poor selection but I found their system and their customer service crappy. The ladies who would "help" me were totally snotty and inconvenienced by my being there and needing their help.
I got fed up with their poor attitudes and lack of variety, that I switched to the bay and had a MUCH more pleasant experience.
we registered at the bay and it has been great. i like the convience of being able to add items online, plus they give you a completion card that you can start using right away that gives you an additional 10% off anything that is on your registry for up to a year after your wedding. i've been watching the sales and admit that i've come close to buying things that are 50% off cause we get an additonal 10%
I say the Bay just because we registered there and had a good experience.
The Bay is great but Sears is good too! I like that you can update and view your registry online with The Bay. Both Sears or Bay are better choices to register at than Bed Bath and Beyond because you might ended up with gift cards from the place you registered from( i know i did) plus if you need to return a gift there are big ticketed items at The bay and sears that you could put the credit towards. Such as appliances or tv etc. I received around 1400 dollars in GC to The Bay and ended up putting it towards a new king mattress as there is only so much china i use and a bed im in 8 hours a day. Just a little advice! Lol
I recommend The Bay because I've bought things off their registires for friends before and it was easy to use. We'll probably register there, too.
Oh wow I had such horrible experiences with the Bay!I transferred everything to a sears registry and was happy. The bay lost multiple items of ours and kept saying they were being reshpiped from another store. You would think that might take a few weeks at most. Nope it took 7 months for some of our luggage to come in and we had to borrow some for our honeymoon. Not worth the hassle.
Do you have a bed bath and beyond? I find they have way better options than sears and the bay !
I had registries at all three! But I only really told people about Sears. I like that you can also add catolgue and online items, but the main reason I used Sears as my main was because it was easier for my guests to access.
I registered with Bed, Bath and Beyond (keep in mind their gift cards are sold in other stores in those gift card displays) and Sears. I tried to register with Home Outfitters at two different locations but the service was terrible at both so I just gave up with them.
Bed Bath and Beyond has been wonderful I cannot say enough good things about their customer service. Sears had great customer service too and I loved that anyone could price match or call their toll-free number to tell them to mark things as bought even if they didn't buy that specific item at Sears.
What I liked about both was that I could edit them online and add to them online too.
BB&B is amazing. We regisered there for all kitchen stuff and china and crystal.
We did open a Bay registry online too (new feature!) for Le Creuset (they don't carry LC at Canadian BB&B). The ladies from the store kept calling me saying I needed to come in to add items but I was adding them online. I still need to go in to get the completion discount.

Hey Bees,
Need your help!! I'm having trouble deciding between registering at Sears or The Bay (Home Outfitters is also an option).
I would have loved to register at BBB but there just aren't enough locations that are convinient for our guests.
Any suggestions? Good or bad experiences?
Thanks in advance!!!
