OK I swore I would never get so wrapped up in wedding planning that I started having dreams about my wedding….
A little over 8 months to go and I had my first one last night.
My dream was that we forgot to send out the invitations and no one came except for immediate family and grandparents. We tried to get some of the fillet mignon to go but they said banquet food can’t leave the premises. So it was a $22,000 meal for 12…..not sure which part of this dream was worse that no one came or the price tag for an intimate reception.
Any other bees out there have dreams or nightmares about the wedding?

@KristenLiz11: I thought I’d never be one to have wedding nightmares/dreams too! They started about 2 weeks ago and I’ve had 3 now ! last nights was our minister didnt stay focused at the ceremony and was all over the place and didn’t actually marry us, we had no time for our pictures and had to leave to the reception without actually being married! Haha such a ridiculous dream. I hope this isn’t constant for the next 7 moths!!

I had a nightmare that I got married at the same time as two other chicks, and they wouldn’t let me wear my wedding dress! So I had to get married in jeans!

Agh!!! I just had a wedding related nightmare last night! I blame it on doing too much research and watching American Horror Story before bed.

I dreamt last night that I had a horrid dress with flowers all over it & my fiance and I were fighting the whole night & we did nothing after the ceremony…no parent dances, no cake cutting…just me pouting everywhere in dress that kept getting uglier & uglier!!!

I have dreams that it’s the wedding day but we haven’t given the day of coordinator any instructions, we didn’t talk to the caterer about what food would be served, none of the details have been nailed down. 89 days…. ahhhhhhh

My nightmares are almost always that the wedding is happening right now, as in whatever I haven’t done or gotten yet, isn’t done or there for the wedding. For example, my dress hasn’t arrived yet, so in my dreams it is never ready or done. I don’t have a TON of wedding dreams, probably 1x/ month or so. But I hattttttte them!

I had my first one last night. I dreamed our venue made a mistake with dates and put us in for April 25, 2014 and they wouldn’t change it. So everything was a rushed disaster. I forgot my dress, then finally got it, but it hadn’t been altered and I had on a black bra with straps. The bridesmaids’ dresses looked terrible because my MOH’s friend’s brother had sewn them in a few days, and one girl’s dress was so short her underwear was showing. It was just a mess. We eventually decided to reschedule and gift the big wedding to engaged friends who couldn’t afford it, since it was too late to get any money back.
ETA: I still dream about elementary school, so detailed, involved panic dreams are kind of my thing
