Ugh, I just finally after 3 months of issues got Jared to accept a custom ring back after their store and service department botched everything!  That said, you will pay more from them and I can’t say it is worth even the piece of mind of having it covered.  I got opur bands from  and LOVE them and had previous bands from them over 10 years old that never needed redipping and still look awesome!  they charge solely on price of gold and have tons of options.  Would highly recommend!!

@almostwright:  I would just get a refund at this point. No question. Tell them they’ve been out of line by refusing to do business with them. This is the option with the fewest headaches, IMO.

What you’re looking for can be found at just about any jewellery store, so you could go to a different chain to find it. They mostly have fairly comparable warranties and services. Or heck, even a different jareds location.
