@Beckaboo:  I thinks if you’ve raised hell for a refund and they won’t give it I would just keep it for now until you guys have the extra money. I think it’s very shady of them not to offer or allow an exchange or refund if you have your receipt and bought it recently. I would def let them know you are really upset

Since you just want a plain gold band, how about trying ebay? You should be able to get a gold wedding band for way less than $400. And maybe you should just hold onto the one you have for now. It may grow on you, or you may decide to use it as a stacker.

@Beckaboo:  One more suggestion, in the UK most women (especially of my mum’s generation and older) wear plain gold wedding bands and to make them fit with the e-ring, it is common to have the e-ring made a size bigger (this might be covered by your care plan, if you have one) and then sliding the band under the halo (or the portion that sticks out).

 

I would include a picture for illustration, but all the examples I see on google pictures come from weddingbee and I don’t want to post someone elses pics.
