Are you getting your rings engraved? What did/are you having engraved?
We’re really into the whole French thing and my Fiance really wants to do a French phrase on both rings. He things the initials and wedding date is too boring. I came up with Je T’aimerai Toujours (I Will Always Love You) which he really likes, possibly with the date also. Hopefully it isn’t too long.
So what is everyone’s engravings? I’d love to get some more ideas/inspiration.

I think I’m going to get “August 4, 2013 – Always and Forever” on my FIs ring. He wants my married name engraved in my e-ring, so I may do that and then the same on my wedding band as his.

We really want symbols, but I’m not sure if they can do that. We use <3 a lot so we would like that and the infinity symbol. But, if they can’t do that, we’ll probably just leave them blank.

Fiance is a music teacher and proposed to me with a video slideshow of pictures and music. The last song was “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds, which played while the words “Will you marry me?” came up. I wanted to incorporate that into the ring, but in my state (ND) we are limited on what engravers can do.
Fortunately I found someone who could bring my idea to life (Luckily in ND or else I’d have to go to MN). I am having a 5-line music staff engraved in the ring, with a treble clef and the time signature 7-6 on it to represent our wedding day. The 5 line staff with have the music notes to the last line of the song of “The Luckiest.” So when he receives the ring and hums out the notes to himself, it will be the last line of that song.
