We don’t, but I kind of want to get tattoos on the SIDE of our ring finger. Kind of like this:

Hand/finger tattoos are really hard to keep looking nice though. Our hands go through a lot every day!

@DuckyPDuckerson:  We plan to get something because he can not wear a ring on his finger while working.

I kind of love these…

But I don’t think we could ever commit, lol.

I do like the idea of inside the finger tattoos, like these

^^None of these pics are mine.

H and I have the first letter of our last name on the side of our ring fingers, under our rings.

I so totally want one!  Do you think you’d get one before or after the wedding?

I love tattoos and have a few of my own, but finger tattoos tend to fade siper quick and get blotchy, and I know a few tattoo artists who even refuse to do them…if you dont mind that tho, then go for it..i think its fine in a situation where you cant wear a ring to work as a previous poster mentioned

I wonder what people do if they break up though. It’s almost like when you get someone’s name tattooed on you. I guess it could be turned into something else, though.

@musical-lady:  or if you become a widow.

I remember watching Tamera from RHOC getting hers removed from her ex-H. Yikes, not for me! and I have a few tats of my own too!

I think they’re pretty cliche now. Also… like PP mentioned, it’s hard to keep them looking nice.

I’m not completely against tattoos, but it seems like common sense to avoid tattooing the hands or face if you have professional jobs and so on. Can you see Kate Middleton walking around with visible tattoos?

@DuckyPDuckerson:  I don’t, but I was just thinking today how I’d like to get the inside of my ring finger tattooed. I was thinking a couple little music notes because my DH is a musician.

@DuckyPDuckerson:  I love to see finger tattoos. But like another Bee mentioned finger tattoos fade and tend to look sloppy after a while. But I want one SO bad!

I will add that I haven’t had any problems with mine so far. I’ve had it for two and a half years with fading and no touch ups needed.
