Can we see your halo? That might help me visualize it a little better.

I agree with you that a solid band would work best.  Your ring is beautiful and really doesnt need much at all.

@hotchocolate: You want to get the classic comfort fit. The other has a very round look to the top and may actually bump up against the halo piece. The classic lays more flat to your finger. (We went through this with DH’s ring from there)

@hotchocolate: I have pics on my computer at home of DH with these rings on his fingers. Then you can see them on a real person. I will put them up after work.

this was probably the hardest decision that my husband and I had to make… We actually went back and forth… BUT then we decided to get the band made IDENTICAL to the band on the engagement ring… And we chose to NOT have them sautered together. That way when we are traveling or just going to the gym I can wear my band alone and it still feels weddingish :)….. Here is a pic.. I just took it with my phone so excuse the crap quality 🙂

I think that the classic fit would look best with your ring. The dome rings tend to be rather tall, and it may not fit under the halo (this will reduce the gap). I know that a classic is what I will go with if I get a plain band because the band on my ering is rather ‘square’, so the dome rings look kind of funny with it.

thank you ! mine was custom made as well and thats what we initially thought … it was going to be EXPENSIVE… buttttt when we actaully talked about it, it wasnt nearly as much being the main cost is in the center stone etc…. so it wasnt nearly as expensive as we thought…:)
