I’m not sure I know what you mean. You’re thinking of wearing your CZ set that is identical to your diamond set because it has more sentimental value? If they both look exactly the same, wear the one that means most to you. I’m sure neither would look gaudy when you’re dressed down, just like you prefer the casual look.

ETA: Ohhhh, wait. Do you mean you have two bands – the CZ and the diamond? Wow, I’m so stupid. I thought you meant the entire set. Well, if that’s what you meant, I don’t think the two together will look THAT much different from just one, so I say go for it if it makes you happiest!

@ummjustjessica:  I think it looks nice and who cares if it stands out.. that will help destinguish the most special of them all! I know what you mean about being casual and I am the same way… your set would be too blingy for my taste but it’s not mine! So I guess the real question is.. is it comfortable? I don’t think it’s too much if you love it.

Why don’t you wear your cz ring around your neck on a pretty chain? Or perhaps, if you’re religious you could get your new ring blessed to make it feel more special? (I’m not religious and I don’t even know if that’s possible – just throwing it out there!!)

Why not wear the cz band on your other hand?

I wear a set very similar to yours. I have two diamond bands, my e ring, and I recently started wearing a third band with cz stones, all on my left finger. I am a jeans/tshirt kind of girl, and I think it just makes the rings stand out more. I was wearing the e ring in the middle of the two bands, but something about adding that third band is really “wow”, so I’ve stuck with it. I think your set looks great! Go for it, seriously! I’ve had a ton more comments about my rings since doing this, and I think it’s fine, even if I am a jeans/tshirt girl.

@ummjustjessica:  A great way to prevent this is to get the rings sized a bit larger so they don’t put too much pressure on your skin. You can always opt to wear just the 2 bands in the summer if it becomes too much for you.

@ummjustjessica:  What about having a special dinner or date night for the sole purpose of giving each other these new rings?  This would make the new ones special and give you a nice memory.  I say go with what makes you most happy!
