I’m wondering, to all you ladies who have a “euro shank” engagement ring, (here’s mine – sorry for the crappy phone pic)
Are any of you ladies or did any of you have a matching Euro Shank wedding ring?

I guess what I mean to ask is a.) Is it worth having a Euro-Shank Wedding band simply to match the Engagement ring if I don’t want any diamonds in the band? and b.) where can I find a euro-shank wedding band? (I can’t seem to find any!)
Thanks in advance for any advice.

So I’m not of much use to you since I don’t have a wedding band yet, BUT i do have a euro shank ering. Not sure what your budget is or specifically what kind of ring you’re looking for, but I know A. Jaffe has euro shank wedding bands (I think that they’re all with diamonds, but I haven’t checked for plain ones). Also, if you go to a jeweler they can take your ering, make a mold of the shank, and make a wedding band for you with a euro shank that matches your ering.
With all that said, I don’t think you NEED the euro shank if you’re going with a plain wedding band, especially if you’re going with a thin one. My understanding was that the euro shank does two things: prevents a top heavy ering from spinning, and adds extra comfort. With a plain wedding band it won’t matter if it spins, and when I’ve tried on bands that aren’t euro shank, and I can’t really feel the difference.
Ok, so, that was REALLY long-winded but I hope it helps

@littlegraykitten: thank you! (Your username is ADORABLE, btws!) That was a really great help! I will definitely keep that in mind. Also, I really like the idea of molding it from my e-ring! Thanks!!! Euro-shank rings unite! 🙂
