My photographer suggested padding the photog time more toward the beginning of the event than the end, because the reception photos tend to get really redundant. Just a suggestion!

Hmm, I had a hard time gathering what your schedule was overall, but just keep in mind that it’s pretty standard for photographers to arrive two hours before the ceremony start time, and stay through the end of the reception. Generally, photography packages include 6-8 hours of time.

The reason they arrive so early to get some shots of you and your groom getting ready and also take a lot of wedding party portraits before the ceremony to save time after. Also, if you and your groom are up for seeing each other before the ceremony, those pictures would be taken at that time, too. This makes it easier for the photographer and wedding party because then you’re not so rushed right after the ceremony to get all the pictures.
