I fell in love with these shoes. Very expensive, but they are SO comfortable! ANd the sole is blue! I just haven't decided what color I will dye them.

I fell in love with a pair of Manolo Blahnik crystal heels at Saks a few months back. Very simple...just crystals along the toe and a plain gold ankle tie, but crazy expensive. I stalked ebay and won them for nearly 60% off! Since we are doing 2 receptions in each of our hometowns, I am on the lookout for another pair. Would love some Louboutins or Choos, but only for a steal. I'd like to be able to wear them again, so I'm not getting the typical 'bridal' shoe.
I wore Cynthia Rowley Trilogy shoes. They were beautiful but hurt a lot as they were very high heels. But they looked awesome in photos and I changed at the reception.
I'm really into the idea of colored shoes. I'd really love a bright red, or bright torquoise, but since my colors are more puple, I think I should match my own wedding and go with a deep purple. If I can't find anything I like enough I'd also consider something metallic like silver or gun metal gray. Has anyone seen any really cute satin purple heels?
BTW - Has anyone heard of or had experience with dyable shoes bleeding color on things?
I am wearing a pair of Red Anne Klein mary jane type shoes. I pretty much only wear mary janes so I figured I should stick with what I love. The red doesn't really go which the colors of my wedding but I figure most people wont see them anyway & I got a pair of silver ballet flats for the reception. I am not a huge fan of "wedding" shoes and wanted to be able to wear them again. Which I am so excited to do. I was almost going to buy another pair so I could wear them now. :)
Reilabird, those are exactly what I am looking for!
Can you let me know who the designer is or where you got them?
Thanks so much!
lilneko69, they are kenneth cole wicked rich in champagne. I got them at zappos. http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/22722442/c/270.html. I got zappos to price match shoes.com and got them for $76.95. Here is the link for shoes.com. Order your shoes from zappos.com first then call them to get the price match. Here is the link for shoes.com, http://www.shoes.com/product.asp?p=5039967&variant_id=EC1041134, refer to this for the price match when talking to zappos. Remember you always return these if you don't like them. I originally had silver, but wanted a more goldish color, and these worked out! Hope you like them.

lilnedo69, I found an even better deal for you, if you are looking for black, brown, or silver. http://www.smartbargains.com/go.sb?pagename=prod&fcloc=product&deptid=1094&catid=1522&prodid=1311440401&aid=74. And if you go through paypal, you get 20% cashback! Wow what a deal, I'm tempted to get the brown, just because..hehe. So the total comes out to $30 plus $10 shipping..woot!
i fell in love with the jimmy choo leona when i saw them at nordstroms. i was looking for gold shoes and when i saw them i absolutely had to try them on. they were soooo comfortable too! sadly, they were $600!!! i tried to find reasons why i deserved these beautiful shoes, but in the end i coudn't justify buying such an expensive pair. Has anyone seen them anywhere for less? I've tried ebay, but it doesn't look like anyone has them yet.
I loved my Caparros-- they have a lot of wedding-style shoes in champagne and ivory. I bought the Itzy style in Champagne. here it is in white:

With the gel inserts for the ball of the foot, I danced in them for hours.
im wearing a pretty simple pair that just accents the beading on my dress.

i havne't found the perfect pair, yet... but just a tip for all the shorter brides out there who want to wear high heels that day - platforms are your friend :) I am trying to find a nice heel (4 inch+) but will be making sure that it has a small platform in the front. I think many women are scared off by this seemingly added height, but it actually makes the shoe so much more comfortable because you have less of an arch in the shoe, which is what will end up saving you on eht day of. This comes froms years of experience wearing heels and dancing for 4-5 hours :)
