I am wearing purple shoes. Purple is my favorite color and I thought that I needed a little pop of color with my dress.
Well mine are ivory, as my dress is ivory :-P. I'm only being so particular because white did not look at all right under my dress and it's haaard to find ivory shoes!
I'm going with turquoise. They are with my wedding theme and hey, why not?
Yay! yes. I haven't bought them yet but I am on the search for some really funky and fun green flats. I have found lots of green flats but nothing wild enough yet. My wedding colors are black and white with a pop of green so I think it will be fun to have a pop of green on me too. And I'm going to buy FI a pair of matching green socks so we can be dorks together I showed him a pic last night where someone had done this and he said he thought it was cool.
rnc620 I love your image you provided! thats soo fun! I'd never get my FH to wear pink socks hahahaha but the image is great!!!
My shoes are gold and darker ivory. I bought them in May 2008 before I was even engaged because I knew I had to have them as my wedding shoes!! They ended up going fine with my dress (thank goodness!!) but I'm a huge shoe freak so I had to get the perfect ones for me.

I'm wearing hot pink! I couldn't not have colored shoes once I saw what awesome photo ops they make! They just came in this week and I'm in love!
I found these silver satin ballet flats before I had even picked out my wedding dress but didn't get a chance to wear them. They go great with my dress because it has silver beading and embroidery.
Like carrieitly, I'm looking for ivory shoes to match my ivory dress. I had originally planned for a spash of color on my feet, but I don't think it'll match the look of my vintage dress.
Mine are purple!
Kyleen by Nina in Grape Satin! (Funny thing is, my fiance's name is Kyle haha)

Meggy- I am so jealous! I have been dying for those CL's, but Saks doesn't have them anymore. "Champus", right? Oh, what I would do to get my hands on a pair of them!
I'm going to wear orange to match my BM dresses. My dress is ivory and I really want to show our youth and think the pop of color will be fun!
My shoes are black. My colors are black and white and I will definitely wear them again.
i haven't bought them yet, but i'm pretty sure that i will be getting silver shoes. silver seems like a color that will be easy to wear again.
mine are natural satin but they look more like champagne (or light gold under some lights).
I'll be wearing my brown cowboy boots. I would love to wear a cute pair of blue heels for the reception, but since we'll be outdoors next my dad's orchard there's no way I'd survive. I'm settling for dancing the night away in them at our welcome dance the night before.
My shoes are orange with tons of BLING!! My first (but hopefully not my last) pair of Jimmy Choo's. I HEART them
@rnc620: OMG, that is so adorable.
Mine are fuschia (Kate Spade, Loupe). It's an accent colou for me, and such a cute trend I couldn't pass it up (though my mother thinks it's rediculous... good think she doesn't have to wear 'em!).
I'm wearing blue peep toes in a soft turquoise if I can find them. My trouble is finding a heel that is less than 2" with the blue peep toe requirement. i could always dye something, but i've got to find the something first. Of course if the weather is uncooperative, I'll be donning my wellies for the reception (in a tent). ;)
Purple... because it's my favorite color, and why should I be the only one not wearing my color on my wedding day??
For those wearing deep purple...where are you finding them? I looked for the Nina shoes and I couldnt find any available.
although our colors are yellow and purple, i really want to wear pink shoes :)
i definitely want hot pink since i saw this cover of the brides mag..i love the pic that rnc620 posted and i emailed my fiancee already to see if he would agree..haha.
I'm going with ivory shoes, but adding teal rosettes or bows or something to them. I debated going with a color, but think that deep down, I'm a little more traditional than I'd like to be. (And this way, I can dye them black and keep wearing them, without worrying if the teal to black transition looks more like vomit.)
@ Cantabrigian--this is the blog post that made me consider blue shoes. http://mrs.allieandjosh.org/2009/02/blue-with-envy/ It was posted on one of the blue shoes boards...
As much as I wanted to do a fun color, once I found my dress, which is CRYSTAL white, I couldn't ruin the perfect whiteness of dress and veil with red shoes. plus I'm going with a dance boot, and I think red would be a little obnoxious lol.
Mine are ivory to match my dress. I can't get into the colored shoe look, it totally ruins the ensemble for me.
Purple is my main wedding color and my BMs will be wearing pretty deep purple dresses but it was insane trying to track down stylish purple heels in a satin that were 3 inches or less (I'm a tall girl, 5'9'') so I had to settle for a pink. I absolutely fell in LOVE with a pair of pale pink Christian Lacroix peep toes and it was all over. I think the striped lining really cinched the deal for me. I love the Parisian flair!

Are you wearing shoes that aren't white with your wedding dress? If so, what color, and why?
