Ok, I know I have posted so many accessory threads on this board. I am a very visual person and I can’t put outfits together in my mind alone. Yesterday it was veils, now it’s shoes!
I have (finally) chosen a pair of shoes for my wedding. Hard part DONE! But now I can’t decide on which color to order. We are using pink, ivory, silver, and light green for our wedding.
I’m worried wearing the white shoes would be too much white. And that the mint color might be too weird? I’m just having trouble deciding – honestly, I’m probably overthinking it.
What are your opinions, bees? Colored shoes or white?
What color shoes did you wear? Please share!

My shoes are glittery, old pink/mauve peep-toe heels ! I didn’t want to give myself a headache trying to find a white shoe I liked, of the correct matching white shade. I’m not attracted to white shoes to begin with, but the matching part was my biggest concern.
ETA : I didn’t find them online, here is a pic of my beauties !

These are my shoes. So I say mint green is not too weird lol.

I love the mint color! I’ve got ivory shoes, but I’m kind of still looking for replacements because I’d like to wear colored shoes!

I love the mint color! Definitely makes that shoe more interesting and pretty!
I had an ivory dress and navy blue crinoline so I went with white shoes but if I hadn’t already had the pop of color with the crinoline, I would have definitely opted for a colored shoe!

Go for a colored shoe. Mine were a great purple.

go with whatever shoe you would get the most use after you wedding.
noone is really going to see your shoes under your dress, unless you have a short dress.
my shoes were glittery. i’ve worn them with jeans and black leggings since the wedding.

@NauticalDisaster: I love your bow! I would have like to have found something with a bow, but I really need a tiny heel – which is soooo hard to find!
@KimmySumShuga: Your crinoline is awesome! I agree – Seeing your picture, I’m thinking the white may be too much with my white dress.
@HappyInLove11: Haha! So you’re a little partial! Mint is great, especially in the spring and summer. And it’s pretty versatile. It wouldn’t have been my first choice for a color, but I really like these shoes and we are using it as a small accent color!

@donna_saur: Can I suggest DIY instant bow shoes ? If you find a shoe with the correct color and heel height, but you think it lacks a little bit of ornament, then you can add show clips that are fairly unexpensive, but will totally change the shoe’s look.

Am I the only person in the world wearing moccasins under my dress?!
PS go with the mint! I love them!

@NauticalDisaster: part of my problem is I haven’t found any lower heeled shoes that I like AT ALL! Maybe I’m just way picky. These are the first ones I’ve even kind of liked. And I’m running out of time. My first fitting is in a month! Anything I’ve found with the heel I need is too blingy or too over the top. Or just not what I’m looking for.

@jannathegreat: awesome!!! My original thought was to wear boots, but it’s going to be so dang hot, I nixed that quickly! I am not wearing shoes for our ceremony, just for the reception!

@donna_saur: Awe thanks! Yeah I think a pop of color goes a LONG way! Go for it!

Y’ALL. I went to the mall today and accidently found my wedding shoes!!! I got them in silver multi, which has a kind of pink shine to it! My mom and FI couldn’t believe I picked them, but I fell in love! So much for a bright color…but I’m so excited! Thank you all for the push to go bold!!!
