Yes.  I would get them a small gift as a token of your appreciation, but a thank you note is also fine.

@Jenny_Loo_Davis:  I really don’t know what the standard is but I gave my hostesses both a gift. I got some really great Vera Wang body scrub and lotion on sale at Kohls and they really loved it!

I am in the same boat with my sister and best friend. I did give a gift to my Godmother when she hosted a shower for me, but since I’ve spent a lot on my gifts, my Mom and I agreed a really nice note is totally appropriate.

I would. You could give them the gift at the shower.

@Jenny_Loo_Davis:  I did…I did these mason jars filled with bath salts, a bath fizzie, and a shower gel and lotion. My gals loved them!

@Jenny_Loo_Davis:  No problem!  Super easy and inexpensive to do as well 🙂 I just personalized them to each of my girls.

@Jenny_Loo_Davis:  I think a small gift for hosting is a nice gesture. In my circle of friends, we usually do a card and bottle of wine. Flowers are another good option.

@Jenny_Loo_Davis:  I think you should give the hostess (or hostesses) a gift.  A really sweet note and a small token would be appreciated.
