Ugh, that's no fun, I'm sorry! I hope it doesn't ruin the planning they did for you, but be sure to put your safety first!
Ugh, that totally sucks! You be careful though. Don't drive just out of obligation.
I live in Denver too! I wish you all the best! and I hope the roads are clear! Drive safe!
That stinks, I hope the roads clear up for you. If you do make it home drive safe!
Good luck with your drive as well!! I'm in Alberta and have experienced those gross Rocky Mountain winter roads too often. If all goes south (which I hope it doesn't) a possible option might be to video conference in. I heard of a bride from Vancouver skyping into her shower which was in Toronto. Not the same, but you'd be able to see and talk with everyone.
Oh no! I hope the roads clear up for you! But don't drive just because you think you have to. Everyone will be very understanding if you can't make it.
Thanks so much for all of your encouragement!...and video conferencing...that's a pretty good idea!

So my lovely sisters (my co MOHs) have been working their tails off to put together my wedding shower which is this weekend. The shower is in my hometown, which is about 5 1/2 hours southwest of where I live now. That's how I wanted it beings most of the gals I'm close to live in my hometown. Well.....so, you're probably wondering why I am stressed. I live in Denver, which is currently in the worst snowstorm seen in October in 12 years...and ofcourse, living in Colorado, there are about three mountains passes I have to get over in order to get "home." The storm is supposed to break up at 6 pm tonight and I'm not leaving until 4 pm tomorrow....so, that's almost 24 hours for the roads to clear up...but ofcourse, anyone who lives in Colorado knows how incredibly unpredictable the weather can be. I know my sisters (and myself) will be crushed if I can't make it home. So, any prayers, well wishes, and good karma would be extremely welcomed right now! lol
