I want to have a sign as you step into the reception hall, kind of like welcome to the wedding of blah blah blah date blahblah.
Wording ideas anyone???
Because the ceremony and reception are taking place right across from eachother in a hotel, I’m not doing those adorable and trendy wooden signs (altho I’d love to) but I would like to have something on the guest book table

How about Mrs. Cupcake’s sign?

What about a chalkboard? You could just have:
WELCOME TO THE WEDDING OF
Jane and John

Go to Vistaprint. You would be surprised at the signage and posters they have available. You can personalize your own with colors, photos, etc. 🙂

@med700: I’m huge into scrapbooking, and I have single handedly made all my invites, pocketfolds and inserts. So I’m hoping to do up a nice 12×12 sheet of paper, or 10×8 I haven’t decided yet, and then slip it into a nice frame. I’ve literally got tons and tons of stamps and what not.

Any local printer could also do the job for you.
If you want a larger sign you can have it printed on paper and backed with foamcore.
